Most reverse search tools take one uploaded picture, so you have to guess which moment of a clip will match. Here your browser scans the clip at the points where video sites cut their previews, drops black, blurred and repeated frames, and keeps up to 48 sharp, distinct ones.
All of them are searched at once and the hits are grouped per video, so the full video comes back with the number of your frames it contains. Frames that bring up a Similar video without verifying get a second look a few seconds either side.

Screen recordings

Questions
What is a reverse video search?
A search that starts from a video instead of words: you give it a clip, and it finds the videos that contain the same footage. Here that means the full video your clip was cut from, with its title, the site that hosts it and a link.
How is this different from Google Lens or TinEye?
You upload one picture to those, so you would have to pause the clip and take the right screenshot yourself, and with SafeSearch on Google hides explicit results. Here you drop the whole clip: the page picks the frames, searches all of them against indexed video frames and groups the hits per video.
Which videos can it find?
Videos in this index: mostly adult tube sites, plus posts from selected Reddit communities. It is not built for films, TV or YouTube videos. For those, a general search engine is the better tool.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. The frames are chosen on your device and turned into fingerprints there; only those numbers are sent, and they are not stored. A file your browser cannot play cannot be searched here: convert it to MP4, or search with a screenshot.
